The next time you drizzle truffle oil onto your potatoes, you'll know a little more about truffles and why they're so expensive. Don’t know what size pizza you made and thickness is all according to personal taste. The taste has a harmonious, soft and dry flavor, with a pleasant aftertaste. It has an intense smell, a dry to sweet taste, with a Mediterranean touch. Italy is one of the most beautiful countries, stretching from the mountains of the Alps to the Mediterranean sea, it occupies the Apennine Peninsula and the Islands of Sicily and Sardinia. A glass of Vin Santo is a must to round off a meal and to accompany the “cantucci”, typical Tuscan sweets. The Tuscan Vin Santo is a wine produced from grapes left to dry after harvest. It is among the best known passito wines and can be found in different variations: Vin Santo di Montepulciano, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Riserva di Cortona and Carmignano. The rest of Italy will remain in the moderate-risk 'yellow zone' however from 7 June the regions of Abruzzo, Liguria, Umbria and Veneto are expected to turn 'white', if the current downward trend continues, reports Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore.

One of the more unusual white zone rules relates to discos which are permitted to open but without any dancing. The improving situation has led to speculation that white zone rules could apply to all of Italy by 21 June. At present there are no Italian regions or autonomous provinces in the highest-risk 'red' or medium-risk 'orange' zones, where more restrictive rules apply. Fortunately, there are many varieties of foods that go perfectly with this underground mushroom. It is available in the Bianco, Frizzante, Tranquillo and truffles Vendemmia Tardiva varieties. Characteristic of the Island of Elba, this wine is made from Ansonica grapes for at least 85%, plus white grape varieties. This traditional Tuscan wine is produced with Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes.
Fiano tends to be a wonderfully creamy white wine with lots of green apple skin and pear. Greco, arguably Campania's flagship white grape, is a lot crisper, and typically has an abundance of minerality, lemon notes and pear. If the improving covid-19 trend is confirmed, the following regions could become white zones from 14 June: Emilia Romagna, Lazio (Rome), Lombardia (Milan), Piemonte, Puglia and the province of Trento. Another version of Ansonica is also grown in the province of Grosseto. However, Ansonica is not the only white wine from this place: there are also white Elba and Elba Moscato. It is often a sweet wine. Truffles are harvested in winter once they have matured and are emitting the sweet perfume they are known and loved for. Made with white Moscato grapes in the same town as the more famous Brunello, this wine is straw yellow in color, has a distinctive smell and a sweet and delicate flavor.
